Glad you are interested in the Leno car — which is actually a full-on 100% electric Focus. It has the full BEV running gear that we are developing for sale in the next-generation Focus. The Focus BEV — a full electric vehicle — will go on sale in the United States in 2011. Hi Marie,

The European Ford Focus 5 door hatchback that appears on The Jay Leno Show is fully electric and is not a hybrid car. It sure is a beautiful car. I wish this was the Focus that Ford offered here in the U.S. right now. Thankfully we will be getting the all new 2011 MKIII Focus later next year. Additionally, the all new 2011 MKIII Focus will be making its global debut at the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit in early January 2010. I can’t wait!

I love the hybyrd on the Jay Leno show. I want a 100% electric car. When will they be available? Congratualtions to Ford on not taking TARP money and making a profilt this past quarter.

Mr. Hardie, I just wanted to tell you how proud I am of Ford for not taking any Goverment money. Thank you for showing the American people how a Company can be run right. My mom worked for Ford 32 years and they were very good to her. She has passed away but I know she too would of been proud. Keep up the good work. Ford will be # 1 to me always
