Have to agree with you, Chris! Have a 2006 SEL. Have owned 27 autos and the Fusion is in the top 5.

We’ve driven various Ford makes and models all our lives and have never been let down. My current vehicle is the Dynomite Ford Edge! High perfomance and great gas milage (32 – 34) on the highway, hugs the pavement and feels much like my first V8 Explorer. My ‘08 will easily outlast any comprable “experation date” foreign or domestic. Love my Blue Oval! (purchased at Riess Ford in Marissa, IL). They treat us like royalty.

Congratulations to Ford on this very prestigous award. I’ll be picking up my new 2010 Fusion Sport AWD the day after tomorrow and judging from the reviews and testimonials I won’t be disappointed. Before deciding on this vehicle I pledged to my spouse to thoroughly evaluate comparable Hondas, Masdas and Toyotas ….. one month later I’m glad to say that Ford’s Fusion is a clear choice. I’m sure it’ll feel right at home next to our Ford ‘29 Model A Phaeton, possibly two of the best vehicles ever ‘Built By Ford’.

I am 6′3″ and I easily fit into my 07 Fusion. I don’t even need to driver seat back all the way. With the adjustable steering wheel, I can keep the airbar at a safe distance without having to keep my seat all the way back. I have never had a problem with head room either and I regularly wear hats and such. I would try a model with electric seats, it will allow you to lower yourself down.

IT IS NOTHING WRONG..THAT FUSION’S ARE BUILD IN MEXICO……I KNEW THE CAR WAS BUILD IN MEXICO EVEN BEFORE I TEST DRIVE ONE…….BUT AS SOON AS I DID I BOUGHT IT AND IS BEEN THE BEST CAR I EVER OWN IN MY WHOLE LIVE….. AND I WAS A VOLVO OWNER FOR YEARS…. NOT ANY MORE AFTER MY FUSION I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO A VOLVO!!!!! GREAT JOB HERMOSILLO, MEXICO FOR A GREAT CAR!!!!!!

I went to the ford dealer to test drive a new Taurus and/or Fusion. I was disappointed to find that after 20 years I still can’t own a Ford car. They’re too small. I’m 6′ 4” and my head hits the roof of every Ford car i’ve tried since 1991. That is when I purchased an Explorer, which did have enough head room.
I’d really like ford to consider making a car for us tall folks.

Worthless union! I dont take very kind to that. I have worked for Ford for 22 years now, and i can honestly say i work hard for the benifits i get. You ever work an assembly line? It is pure hell. Most of my 22 years i worked many ,many overtime hours, where i saw work much more then my family, i gave my life to Ford..and i can justify the pay and benifits i recieve. My thoughts are pure and simple…Share the wealth!
