They must add ecoboost and/or hybrid to compete with RX450h! Maybe they will soon! (Let's hope so!)

when will the car have electric assisted power steering? seems like that would have been easy since it is on the mkt.

I think it is great to get input so rapidly direct from a Ford. It definitely adds it to my cars to consider; right next to accura mdx.

Turned in my 2007 MKX at the end of June. I am now waiting to order a 2011. Any news when we will be able to order? Also I am in agreement with some of the other people. One of the reasons I bought the 2007 MKX because of the the tail lights> The overall design was nice but the tail lights were very eye catching. I am sorry to see them gone.

Over all though the new interior seating and features like rear view camera, blind spot, remote start and cross traffic alert are exciting. No more getting into a cold car in the winter. The only thing I wish Ford would change is in the back seat. For a car at this level, it is a shame to have the cup holders made out of plastic. When you put a bottle of water or a can of soda in them, they rattle and make constant noise. Maybe if they would have coated the cup holder themselves with a rubber finish it would have taken care of this

Will there be a backup camera in the 2011 MKX. With small children the lack of one is a deal breaker for me. It's hard to understand why Ford/Lincoln does not seem to install them as a basic safety feature/

No locked fuel filler door and no gas cap. What is to prevent someone from putting undesireable fluids INTO the gas tank? I was going to test drive and hopefully purchase the new MKX. But not without these features. Steve

I had a hard time deciding between the 2010 MKX and the NEW MKT.......Both awesome Vechicles..After much thought and comparing I chose and bought the 2010 MKX Midnight package, Im just not ready for the Extra length the MKT has yet, altho maybe down the road..

The only thing that rattles me is not being able to get a backup camera installed, is this going to become available soon? Also front sensors would be nice too!!
As far as the new 2011 MKX...LOVE,LOVE the grill.., no so crazy about the tailights....

Well ford does have led side mirrors available for the lincoln mkx. The side mirrors on the mkt would look great on the mkx? What do you think of that? And one more question, will ford be adding leds to the front and rear of the mkx to keep up with the audi q5 and q7? Seems like a simple add on. Respond please.
