My Reliable Ford
By
Michael W.

I bought my 95 F150 used in 1999. The truck is used as a work truck and at the time of purchase I averaged 40k miles per year. In 2001 I moved my family back to Texas from Mississippi where my daily commute averaged 150 miles round trip. (about 50k per year) I drove the truck until February 14, 2010 when the transmission gave up the fight. However I am not disappointed in the least that is the first mechanical break down the truck has encountered 370269 miles. Original engine equipment including hoses. I change plugs and oil on a regular basis. This is a great truck. I purchased another F150 2006 model of which I believe will out do my 95. I will replace the tranmission and give the 95 to my son and hope he enjoys driving it as I have. Thanks Ford.
