I can totally relate to this story, I will own nothing but a Ford, never have, never will. I currently have a 2010 Lincoln MKX, a 2005 Ford Focus (the wife's cars), a 2006 Ford F350 Crew Cab FX4 King Ranch dually with the 6.0, a 1999 Ford F250 Super Cab 4x4 Lariat with the 7.3, a 1989 Ford F700 with a 6.6, a 1975 Ford F350 dually, and a 1954 Ford NAA farm tractor. Needless to say my driveway looks like a Ford lot. In addition, between my wife and me, we have owned over the years: a 1970 Ford F100 Custom, a 1974 Ford F100 Ranger XLT Lariat 4x4, a 1979 Ford F150 4x4, a 1985 Ford Explorer XLT Lariat 4x4 F150, a 1989 Ford F350 Lariat 4x4 with the 7.3, a 1987 Ford Mustang LX, a 1992 Ford Mustang GT, a 1979 Ford LTD Landau, and a 1995 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4x4. My mom and my dad both have always owned Fords. My dad says that he has never owned anything but a Ford, except for a 1949 Mercury. My mom will not even consider any car, except a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury. We Bleed Blue and have for over 50 years.

I like the four sons above had a father that loves Ford trucks. I drove a 08 F-150 crew cab while my dad drove a 08 crew cab long bed 6.4L diesel dually, that I drive now since my father passed away, My grandpa drives a 02 F-150 ext cab. Like grandpa like father like son. My mother, my brother, my sister, and my grandma all drive Ford cars and trucks. We are all poud of our fords and when I say "Family Tradition" I mean it. I well never trust any other truck than a ford truck.

I bleed Ford blue. I can relate to this story. I have had two Mustangs, an Explorer, and an Escort over the last few years. For two years, I've been driving an F-150 and my fiancee has been driving a Mustang. We are expecting our first child in a couple months and I told her the same thing. "If my kids every buy anything other than a Ford, they can't park it in the yard." It's good to finally see Ford come back to the greatness that its quietly deserved for many years. Live on!!!

Hi:

I have a Ford Escape XLS whatever that means. But, let me tell you something it is the best driving SUV. The versality of this vechicle is phenominal!!/ I loaned it to a friend twice because he had to get to work and his car broke down. He actually got angry with me because I would not let him drive it again! His quote was it drives like a limo!!!/I have got to get one!!

Peace,
Delores

Enjoyed reading the story. One of my earliest memories of Uncle Johnny was the "Red Ford Tractor" use the plot the fields. And uncle saying I would not used any other truck "FORD"to plot my field after converting from the mule and plow. During the course of his life (84 years) he purchased a number of Ford tractors, trucks and cars.
